Here we discover two young choreographers and performers Angela Rabaglio and Micaël Florentz with their very first work The Gyre. It brings the audience at a threshold of hypnosis at a pace of a repetitive dance coming from a fundamental act :
the walk. A radiant work of simplicity and sensuality. Turning around the same centre, the walk speeds up in a swirl revealing the mechanic of a couple relationship. This unchanging movement propels into a fascinating, meticulous and fragile score. Each pose seems to naturally stem out of the previous one and shape the following one, just like in everyday life. All along this orbital path appear the fleeting forms that are revealed and highlighted by subtle musical work and light design. Little by little the border between the two bodies fade away to finally entirely disappear. Hands touch shoulders and face of the other. They delicately melt into one body without any otherness.
