The project Sillas is a choreographic and musical composition, a performance encounter which develops writing in movement based on the relationship between the body and everyday object: the chair.
The chairs seen as a place of research, metamorphosis, dialogue, building, cultural, social, political and poetic identity.
SATCHIE NORO
Dancer // choregrapher, aerial circus artist.
French-born Satchie made her first steps in the dojo of her Japanese father, Masamichi Noro, master of Aikido and studied classical dance with Wilfride Piollet.
After a short stay in Berlin at the Deustch Opera, she embraced the prolific Berlin alternative scene as a choreographer and performer from 1991 to 1995. Back in France, she performed with Andy Degroat, Shiro Daimon, Mié Coquempot...
In 2002, she discovered the aerial circus techniques at the Circus School Les Noctambules with Michel Nowak. Simultaneously founded the company Furinkaï.
In 2006 begins a collaboration with constructor Silvain Ohl and together they created Origami in 2014 which toured in Europe and Chile.
She has also collaborated as dancer and circus artist with Adrien M & Claire B, Carlotta Sagna, James Thierré, Michel Shweizer, Mohamed Al Khatib, Pierre Meunier and Marguerithe Bordat...
In 1999 she was the laureate of the Villa Kujoyama (Villa Medicis Hors-les-murs) in Kyoto with Alain Rigout. In 2004, laureate of the Jeunes Talents Cirques and In 2012 she was granted a residency as part of the Hors-Les-Murs programme of the Institut Français.
Since September 2015, she is co-directing the Circus School Les Noctambules of Michel Nowak in Nanterre with Olivier Verzelen.
