A new wave of feminism is born: ultra-connected, ultra- sexual and much more popular. But while facing ambivalent power of pop culture, where and how should a young woman place herself in this conflict? What weapons can she use? Born in 1990 Belgian choreographer and dancer Mercedes Dassy, that we already saw alongside Voetvolk | Lisbeth Gruwez, appropriates these questions to re-roll the dice. With this play i-clit, she engages herself into a sensual and energetic solo about feminine desire to re-appropriate the body in itself and for oneself. Through the dance she keeps on wondering about new feminisms: their ambivalence, their weaknesses and their strengths.
